Jacob LaMarr

I am a doctoral student at the University of Maryland researching strategic human capital.

Prior to academia, I managed engineering teams in the semiconductor industry. In that role, I led my team through two corporate acquisitions in just over two years, providing the practical, employee-level perspective that informs my current research. I also learned the perspective of employees who pushed to develop an innovative and disruptive product as well as what happens when the market doesn't adopt that product.
